So sure, It has been a while...

Unlike my last post THIS title has nothing to do with the length of time since my last post. although it has been approximately  3 months and 20 days since I did post last, I have more pressing matters on my mind.

Like I said, it has been a while... Since I have been into a library so I am not sure exactly when these changes were made, since like 78% (real statistic and definitely not one I just made up) of the worlds population I regularly frequent my local search engine rather than my local library for information and such. Tonight was a different story... (oh yeah, pun of the century) I was down in Flemington and I had just ordered some tasty tasty, reasonably priced dumplings which in my opinion were better than the one's (taste, price and dumpling ratio) I had the previous Monday. The young Asian lady told me that it would be around 20 minutes, so I left into the night to explore all that Racecourse Rd has to offer, which turns out to be little more than restaurants, a pub and Asian supermarkets.
Next door to the dumpling place was a little Library, which upon using my reading skills noticed that it was open till 8pm which wouldn't come till a couple hours after the 20 minutes I needed it for so I entered to wait. I looked around for a while before choosing a magazine with the face of a bald man who has not contributed to music in a positive way since the 90's and some may argue ever, I sat and started flipping through.

Until this point my library experience had been much like any other, but that is where it ended. Last time I was in one of these establishments there were certain taboo's and like I said it seems as though these no longer exist. Tonight I found out that it is not uncommon to sit on a chair in the middle of the library and talk at an above normal volume, talk at a normal volume in another language, to your friend is now fine AND in case you were wondering it is now perfectly acceptable to play music on your phone for the rest of the library to hear.

Now, I know what you are thinking 'how can you judge the whole library system on one visit that you just admitted you made after an extended period of time of not being in one, maybe that was a one off thing, maybe you should check out other libraries to see whether or not you are being a bit presumptuous' which is unlikely since you probably didn't even read this, to which I reply... I am happy with my presumption.

It is a sad day for library goers, a sad day indeed.

Almost a whole year!

So my last post on this thing was on the 3rd of May last year... Today is the 4th of April so yeah its basically been a year, not that anyone reads this so who cares. What better way to come back than with a couple of lazy shots I took of Julia on the first night of the comedy festival. Enjoy.

P.S. Sam Simmons enjoyed some frottage at my expense.

Winter

So, Today It rained... Outside it is quite cold and it got dark at like 4pm. It is probably a bit premature but it has me thinking about winter. I love winter, I enjoy the cold weather, I like it when the sky is dark and gloomy.

Why!?

No, not the guy... the cardigan
So I don't have one, but did growing up...
And I'm hopeful for the future.

So... It's Dark, Cold, And rainy out side
You are inside drinking a hot chocolate and wrapped in...
Something amazing about jumping in puddles. Who doesn't like wearing coats?

But my favorite thing about winter would have to be...

HOLY HELL I LOVE SCARVES!!!

Whatever season you like, winter is superior cause I say.
If you are speculating on my sexuality, think what you like... these things are rad.

Sunday Night

On Sunday 27/03/2011 Julia and I went to Kangaroo Point cliffs where we climbed a wall, sat on some cliffs and listened to the Foo Fighters play live across the river for charity...  YES WE STOLE THE SOUNDS OF A BENEFIT GIG. We just got married and we have no money, now lets move on.

It was an amazing set!

During their last song we climbed back over the fence and went into a Gazebo where Julia started dancing.

After The song finished I took some more.
I Love Black and white

Ah, Thats my wife :)

Following are some photos that Julia took with my point and after a crash course I decided to try my hand at editing.
